Blood and Oil
For as friendly and accessible a Prince as he was, not everything is known about Layfayette. Those who spent enough time around him know that he still occasionally curses Pontiac, and its completely possible that he goes back that far in the city’s history. His family, whether the one he originated from or just the one he now possesses, certainly do have that pedigree, with their members being among the founders of the city proper, the University of Michigan, and the Detroit Renaissance. The 75 years of his rule, however, are no secret. Alternatively a Carthian golden age, with complete dominance for the movement and a mortal city with too many mundane problems to go looking in the dark, or a long slide into inevitable destruction, depending on how cynical you feel today. Without controversy, he was the most powerful Kindred in Detroit, and for his relatively young age, probably one of the most powerful in the world. Everyone has a guess as to where he is, from nobly recruiting allies to take back his rightful throne to cravenly fleeing his enemies. There’s no solid evidence either way.
